Two locations, two distinct offers
Willerby Grove, Peterlee Campus
Peterlee is home to most of our full-time 16–18 provision, with vocational and technical courses across a wide range of subjects.
You’ll find industry-standard workshops, a Lee Stafford Hairdressing Academy, a double-size sports hall and on-campus Starbucks.
Our Technical Academy offers a direct route into industry, with specialist trade equipment and spaces built to feel like real working environments.

Houghall, Durham City Campus
Houghall is the only specialist land-based college in County Durham. If you want to work with animals, trees, land or the natural environment, this is where you’ll train.
Since 1938, our students have built careers in agriculture, arboriculture, horticulture, wildlife and green energy – sectors that are growing and in demand.
A major campus redevelopment opening in 2027 will bring new teaching facilities alongside our existing specialist setup, which already includes a full working farm, animal centre, dedicated machinery workshops and conservation spaces across the 476-acre estate.
