The EPQ offers the chance for A Level students at ED6 to gain real independence, resilience and maturity as learner, while pursuing any topic of your choosing. It is equivalent to 50% of an A Level and is well regarded by universities as evidence that the transition from college to university will be a smooth one and may be taking in to consideration in their conditional offer or provide additional UCAS points.
This course is designed for individuals who wish to develop their knowledge and skills with a key focus on basic vehicle maintenance. On completion of this programme you will be able to competently complete removal and refitting of component parts such as wheels and tyres, brakes and complete an oil change. There will also be opportunities to look at other systems such as Engines and transmission.
