Economics is not simply all about numbers. It is the study of the world around us from a social, financial and cultural perspective, gaining an understanding of economic theories and interrelationships between macro and micro economic issues. You will develop your analytical, numeric, communication and problem-solving skills and cultural awareness.

A Level Sociology focuses on the study of society, it is recognised by employers and universities alike as an excellent qualification showing literacy, numeracy and scientific ability. Here at ED6 you will study culture and identity, education, crime and deviance, and beliefs, alongside sociological theory and research methods.

The EPQ offers the chance for A Level students at ED6 to gain real independence, resilience and maturity as learner, while pursuing any topic of your choosing. It is equivalent to 50% of an A Level and is well regarded by universities as evidence that the transition from college to university will be a smooth one and may be taking in to consideration in their conditional offer or provide additional UCAS points.
