Course overview

Discover imaginary and complex numbers, calculate the exact volume of a 3-D object with integration techniques and understand the relationships of roots within any polynomials and understand the methods used by 3D printers while you explore 3-D coordinate geometry through applications of vectors.

The Further Pure 1 unit will continue to improve your understanding of Pure mathematics in which we will delve into new trigonometry techniques, solving inequalities, the intricacies of conic section and determining infinite polynomials through the Taylor series.

The Further Mechanics 1 unit will reveal further forces within the world around us, extending your understanding from A Level Maths to help to explain the work-energy principle, collisions of multiple particles within 1 or 2 dimensions and work done against resistive forces.
