This 2-year course provides you with the knowledge skills ad behaviours to start a rewarding career in the animal sector. The 2 year course is equivalent to 3 A levels and facilitates progression to university for a wide range of degree programmes.

Our students have progressed to studying a range of degree subjects including Zoology, Zoo Management, Conservation & Ecology, Herpetology, Veterinary Medicine, Veterinary Nursing, Biological Sciences and Education Studies.
They have progressed to universities including Newcastle University, Bangor, University of Lincoln, Royal Veterinary College.
Students can progress to our own degree in Animal Management
Entry requirements
5 GCSE grade 9-4 including English & Maths.
In line with JCQ regulations, you must be physically capable of carrying out the practical elements of this course without the use of a practical assistant.
